One of the joys of being a wedding photographer is when you are asked to shoot the wedding of someone that you have know since they were a child. I have had the honor of knowing Lily and her family for at least the last fifteen years, if not a little bit longer. So when I was contacted about being Lily and Ben’s photographer, I jumped at the chance.
When I sat down and talked with this wonderful couple, we crossed our fingers that there would be snow on the ground and hopefully falling from the sky come the big day. Half of that wish came true. We had a storm early in the week and the snow still accented the ground for some of our images. It was perfect!
The day was beautiful! The decorations were perfect for the Alexander Major’s House. The groom’s navy tuxedo was the perfect contrast on the white snow and the love between the couple was absolutely real.
Check out the highlights of the day below and show Lily and Ben some love in the comments.
