I have had the amazing opportunity to work with some phenomenal people in my short career as a portrait photographer. I joined the Kansas City fashion photography community roughly 3 years ago when I created images for an amazing local apparel company called Heartshaped Clothing. Later that year I had the opportunity to photograph Kansas City Fashion Week. That opened up a world of connections to awesome people.

One of those awesome people is Vinny Sung. Vinny is a model in Kansas City, but he is also much more than that. If you ever have the privilege of meeting this man you will walk away happier and more positive than you started. He is a genuinely kind soul who cares for others and gives his time to several organizations that give back to the community.

I worked with Vinny earlier this year on some studio portraits. We had been trying to connect for a while and our schedules finally aligned so that we could create together. This session was the first time I used my yellow seamless paper backdrop from Superior Seamless. All images were lit with an Interfit S1 from Interfit Photo as my primary light.
