My family recently moved into a new to us home. With that came a full basement and enough space to start creating a “studio” area for indoor portraits. It is not huge and I will always love the character that comes with shooting on location, but it has provided me an area in which I can create some beautifully awesome fine art portraits. Here are a few examples and I will explain more about The Studio Sessions after the jump.
These images have inspired what I am calling “The Studio Sessions.” The full details are not hammered out yet as I want to make this something that will provide tangible artwork for your home as part of the session. Theses sessions are designed around individual portraits, not groups. This allows the focus to be on creating the perfect image of each individual. As you can see these images are unconventional portraits. No forced or fake smiles, more contrast in shadows, fine art type portraits. Images that deserve to be in print and not just on a computer screen.
As soon as I have the details figured out I will update this post and share on social media. In the meantime, can you tell me if this is something you would be interested in for yourself or your children
